I missed the post game last night. Did anyone ask Boone why Britton didn't pitch the eighth? Just want to make sure he isn't hurt. Couldn't find anything online to say he was.

Were running out of starting pitchers. Essentially down to Tanaka, the young gun German and Homerun Happ. Didn't seem necessary at the time but we probably should have kept Gio Gonzalez.

Fair enough, but as a band-aid, wouldn't he have cost a lot more for providing not much more than a AAA up and comer (that is, assuming there is one)?

B & G touched on that this morning, it is likely a good thing he sat...just in case some arsehole oriole pitcher decided to throw at him for going all Ivan Drago v Apollo Creed on them.

that was the album where Pearl Jam started to lose me a bit.

I still went to every concert possible and bought them all, but I really never put it on after the 1st year or so.

probably havnt put it on in 20 years now.
