2019 Yankees Thread...

Feel free to record a few gems and upload them on here, would love a good laugh

On Urshela's first HR, he basically just went silent. I'm trying to catch up on some work, so I'm more listening at this point. I heard the crack of the bat and the cheers. There were no words.

Well, the Halos are 56-59, and 19 back. I guess it comes down to how much importance the voters put on making the post season. The other argument is Trout doesn't have around him what DJ does. View attachment 168340
Yeah, the team's lack of success might prevent 1-2 people from voting for him out of "principle", just like the folks who refuse to vote someone into the HOF on the 1st ballot for no apparent reason.

Trout is 28 today.

2-2-1-2-1-4-2. His previous MVP finishes are Koepka-esque.

Amazing how bad this Baltimore team is. It's like their just pulling dudes out of the stands to play.

They’re bad at every phase of the game. Hitting, pitching, fielding, and even dugout fights.

You guys and gals that aren't stuck listening to Orioles coverage because of where you live, are missing out.

Gary Thorne's misery on these HRs is TV gold.

So is Ben McDonald's hair.

I'll have to give a listen to hear how his misery compares to the Dave Sims Big East noon GOTW in the gerg era.

Not a fan of the stat nerd era where an individual player can win MVP while competing in games that are completely meaningless.

Steve Carlton, Andre Dawson, etc... did not exactly play in the "stat nerd era".
