2021 Fall Ball

Just wondering if they are going to let fan in to watch the scrimmage versus Ohio State?
Has anyone heard?

If the scrimmage is being held at the IPF, absolutely no fans will be allowed.

Are there rosters for the U16 and U18 US, Canada, and Iroquois posted anywhere?

Doesn't look like there are any Cuse alumni on the US men's rosters. The Canadian men's roster includes The Drake in goal but not Owen Hiltz. A bit surprised about Hiltz but still young I guess.

Yeah I don’t even think Jeff Teat was on team Canada after his freshman year. As always the team is beyond stacked on offense and unimpressive on D.

Was surprised I didn’t see Hiltz’s name as well. Speaking of Teat, probably would have been hard for Hiltz to see the field as they are both lefty attackmen. Would have been a good experience for him, but this way he doesn’t miss out any practice with the Orange. Silver lining!

DiPietro and Murphy are featured in the first photo. DiPietro looks like he’s just in warmups so maybe still coming back from injury. Seems to confirm they are both back for ‘22.

Looks like someone outrunning Curry (with some gamesmanship) in the first round - anyone know who it is?

Rice keeps pace with Kennedy, I think, in the second round. I think Berkman is in the third round but not sure, and not sure who he's racing against. If it is Berkman, good to see him running unencumbered with the past knee injury.

It looks like R-So. LSM Michael Page beating Curry in the 1st race.

Rice can absolutely fly. I think he immediately cracks the SSDM rotation & contributes quite a bit as a frosh. Could be a one-man clear specialist.

Thanks, I think you are right about Page. Good call.

Excited about Rice. Syracuse did not have good SSDM play last year, though they do bring back a lot of guys who got expeiernce. Obviously Dearth is a big loss but Dami, Aviles, Rosa and Olexo are all guys who saw time. Dami and Aviles both missed multiple games. Would also like to see someone who could be a threat in transition like Dearth was.

Is that an illegal pocket in the first photo or just physics?

Griffin Cook, right? Didn't he have a stick penalty in the Army game that started the change in momentum? Hope someone is checking his sticks before games.

I think it is Griffin as well.

“Our goalie Jimmy McCool brought us all in the huddle and was like, ‘Don’t let up, dude. Let’s keep going,’” U.S. midfielder Triston Jewell said of the team’s fourth-quarter mindset. “Coach [Steven Brooks] made an analogy. If you have a gold bar inside of concrete, you’ve got to chip away. You’re not going to break it in half.”
