Uh, I had more to do with a senior vs a redshirt freshmen. they were highly effective relying on running the ball 60% of the timing and chucking up the sidelines to custi for big plays.

Tommy won two of those 10 games.

and I saw him several times while he was hurt be the first or one of the first to jump into the field to congratulate another player after a big play or TD.

One definitely gets a sense of the competition going on between TD and Shrader. I sense Shrader might be a bit more "consistent" in his performance and approach to the position of QB. I tend to agree with those saying TD will start. BUT if Shrader grasps the offense(give him 6 more weeks) and exudes a cool confidence, TD better not "stumble".

It’s not just the beard, I swear. But I get big Firzpatrick vibes from Garrett. Longer, mature and thought out answers paired with dashes of whit and humor. I think he may have the personality of a guy that can carry a lockerroom but doesn’t need the cameras and attention on him.

Shrader is two years younger than Devito but comes off ten years older in that interview. Very mature young man.

If Tommy wants it, he needs to BEAT Shrader.

I do get the sense that Shrader is still uncomfortable with some of the things with the offense ( he mentions the option routes) Thats one of the things I pointed out that will make it hard to start him early on. Some people just ignore that because they want to see Shrader at QB.

Morgan showed A LOT of poise for a frosh who was not supposed to even sniff the field. He’s undermentioned and under-appreciated on this board. Good late pluck from the South and I see him remaining on the edge of the equation soaking up the offense moving forward. That’s a good third option.
