If his first read is open or you have confidence in the WR, that’s where he should go, full stop. Not sure you can tell from those clips *anything* about the routes/reads beyond he made the throw and it was caught.Agree center is the biggest concern on the Oline. Vet to me does not get the push up front they need. Probably reason they brought in Sheer. I do not see him making an immediate push because of his late addition. Fromney, ulloa or bleech would be a good fit but moving bleech weakens us at right guard.
Not sold this is Tommy’s team. The concern is his only pass was to Harris. I’ve always felt he focus on one receiver and does not go through his progressions. People will argue he had no time but he did the same thing with Jackson. Through into double coverage while Harris was wide open. Reason Harris was jumping up and down and made that season. Harris is our number 1 and will face double coverage. He will make a number of plays but does not mean he is the best option on every throw. TD talks about getting the ball out faster but if that means always going with your first read it will not work.
The thing I liked about Sharder is it appears he went through his progressions. Let’s be honest you know the staff did not call two passes to the tight ends out of four possessions. He clearly went through his progressions and hit the open receiver. He also stayed in the pocket and made the throw instead of always running when his first option was covered.
D to me is going to be a real strength. DBs may be young in age but a lot got significant playing time last year.
WR will be interesting to see who steps up. I really feel samuels will raise the play of the entire group.
Lots of time to get grumpy in a game thread lol
