not only that. he decides to kick a fg that would only result in leaving brady time to surely defeat him anyway. he may as well have punted and ended the game. because make or miss, that FG at that time was a loss.

4th and 3, get the first..you can run out the clock and kick.
a made fg with a minute left and tb with time outs/ LOSS.

lets see if lombardi is even handed and trashes his buddy bill for that decision like he would if any other coach did that.

He'd say " at that point, you have TWO opponents, the bucks, and the clock..you have to defeat both...a fg on 4th and 3 with that much time..thats only a temporary victory."
