The Chiefs aren't a playoff team right now. The Bucs laid the blueprint for how to contain their offense and their defense/special teams are way too poor to overcome it. Mahomes is still great but his play has been way more up and down this year cause he has to carry the team more than ever. Reminds me of Russ with the Seahawks in the NFC.

The Seahawks are a good comparison. Won a SB, lost the following year. Have been good but not great ever since.

Howie Roseman and Jeff Lurie are like the Jones boys in Dallas. They think they know more than experienced football people. Except I actually think the Jones boys are better at drafting personnel than Roseman/Lurie. The Eagles also have a conditional pick from the Colts that may very well be a first rounder.

I could see the eagles packaging three first rounders for the first pick in the draft and then taking some bust at QB like Sam Howell. There are no must have QBs coming out this year. Better to draft studs at DL, OL and CB.

Pretty much agree with your points but I think it's possible they go 2-2 with the coaches with Kelly and Siriani being on the negative side of the ledger although I know it's wayyy too early on Siriani.

When I read the story about Lurie giving Doug Pederson grief because he ran the ball too much in a win over the Packers at Lambeau a year or two ago I knew we were headed in the wrong direction. Lurie and Roseman are meddlers who want a puppet at HC so they can call the shots. Snyder and Jones are meddlers too and we've seen how that has worked out. Owners should provide resources and then get the hell out of the way and let the football people take over.

It's a joke.
Strange thing is the Browns are supposed to be one of the smarter analytical teams. A few talking heads mentioned it says something about their belief in Baker; I can't really disagree.

I love Lamar Jackson, but he just did something that drives me nuts. He acted like he was giving himself up and running out of bounds, the defender lets up, and then he cuts back up and gets more yards. That should be a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Right. If I was sharing homophobic, racist, and misogynistic comments with like-minded individuals, I wouldn't want them made public either.

Gruden is no victim here. He's a public figure associated with organizations who publicly support inclusion. He skated for 11 years. If Bruce Allen were still in power, he'd be toast too.

Yes, by all means root out the rot in the WFT organization. But don't make Gruden a martyr. His own vitriol and hatred did him in.

I knew some perfect individual was going to come out and post such drivel. “Homophonic / racist / misogynistic “ I can absolutely guarantee you that you yourselves have done this in an email at some point in the last 11 years per at least one individual in the worlds definition of those terms.

what does “publicly supporting inclusion” have to do with anything ? NFL publicly supports player safety yet added more games and has Thursday night football.
