Why would you say that? The are in a race with Tampa, remember. They needed 2 wins in NY before this series and they still do. Maybe 1 in Toronto will work.

It has nothing to do with karma. The yanks are better than the O's team that beat the Sox three straight at fenway at the start of the year. having said that, the Sox are tough to beat and the yanks would have had a tough time winning 2 of 3 with their regular team. Not a reason in the world to go in thinking you only are going to win one game.

Torres is absolutely terrible, Stanton has had one 20 game hot streak all year and if not for that he might be worse DH in baseball.I don’t know even where to begin with how much of a disappointment Sanchez has been.

Stanton had one stretch where you couldn’t get him out, but he has been missing balls by two feet.
My point was that I’d rather have had Baltimore’s lineup tonight than what the Yankees put out there tonight.

It really isn't his fault. We really watch our teams. We overrate them when they are going well
and underrate them when they are going bad.
