I have no idea. Cole would be on regular rest and it would mean he gets the most starts for the rest of the season.

Yuck, at this point I would make sure Cole gets every start that he can, but I understand why they would give him an extra day after throwing so many pitches on Saturday.

If it can't be Cole, then I would go with Montgomery. He has basically been the second best starting pitcher with Kluber gone.

German only threw 34 pitches out of the pen last Sunday.

Assuming German tonight, Monty tomorrow, Cole and Taillon Sat and Sun.

Monday off.

German and Monty against Philly the 20th and 21st.

Cole and Taillon against the Sox again the 22nd and 23rd.

I thought Cortes might get the call, but unfortunately he is now on the COVID-19 list.
I have zero faith in German.This could be an ugly weekend and put the nail in the coffin for my Yanks.

I think we end up pleasantly surprised and Yanks win 3 out of 4. Other than Sunday (Green) and the throw away against Seattle, the Yankees seem to have turned a corner of late.
