Voit with a triple?
So, the top of the order is Voit, Rizzo, Judge, Gallo, Stanton, and the first run is produced by Velazquez and Higashioka. View attachment 204608
That catch looking YUGE right now. Argh. That's former Yankee Jake Cave.
Traded to MIN for Luis Gil.
This sounds brash, but it feels like a 10 spot night for the yanks easy. Just hold them to 9That catch looking YUGE right now. Argh.
My buddy was texting me the same thing. Hopefully you two are onto something. This sounds brash, but it feels like a 10 spot night for the yanks easy. Just hold them to 9
They have a ton of great shirts (link at the bottom). For anybody that didn't watch the YES broadcast, the Yanks now play the Imperial Klaxons (from Star Wars) with 2 strikes and 2 outs. Coney was like "What is that?? It sounds like a pregnant whale!!" Welp, less than an hour after that, they created this masterpiece:I want one of those Nestor shirts!
"Play it louder."The thing with the Yankees is that because of their rich history you can always go back and draw a parallel to another season. I know a lot of people are starting to say this is 1978 redux but I was thinking it's more like 1964. High expectations to start the season then injuries and the team underperforming right through July. Manager being criticized for making the wrong moves and players not responding. Yankees call up Stottlemyre to bolster the rotation in July and he goes 9 and 3 down the stretch. Phil Linz plays the harmonica after a loss and Yogi goes ballistic. Team suddenly comes together and they go on to win the pennant. So maybe it's Deja Vu all over again. We get Gil coming up to bolster the rotation, and the team seems to be responding to Boone. Not sure who the harmonica player analogy would be but I'm thinking it could be Odor . . . he seems like the wise guy type that every team needs for comic relief.
