Was closer than I thought after seeing replay. Rizzo was not stretched out like you often see a first baseman which kept it a little closer. Was also trying to play the bounce. Great last out all around. Wow. Thankfully.

Well, Britton's been pretty wobbly lately. Tonight his velocity and movement were good, location a little less so. All in all, he had a good inning, which he needed. I'm okay with Boone getting him out at that point. "One at a time is good fishing."

Peralta last night, Velazquez tonight. Two of the biggest, most pivotal, damn fine plays on the season made by call-ups in late innings. This is baseball. It's starting to feel like it's a team out there again.
