Career ending no but career altering yes. You probably were to young but the Mets let Johan Santana pitch way above his normal pitch count to get the teams first ever no-hitter and the guy was never the same after. Plenty of other examples out there as well.

Frazier was a finalist for a Gold Glove last season. So does this mean the organization just ignores the advanced fielding metrics that got him there when it suits their agenda? I'll bet they use them in contract negotiations when it paints a negative picture.
