2022 Yankees Season

I don't expect weeping and gnashing of teeth from Yankee players when they lose a game...but they could be a little less smiley after they stink.

The worst will always be Greg Bird.

Was in a slump and had some quote about how he wasn't worried because he was going to have 1,000s of major league at bats to work it out.

I just looked it up. It was worse than I thought. And he only had 90 more abs as a Yankee.

YES won't carry the game tonight because it's somehow been awarded to Apple? Which means TSN won't have it either. So, since I already picked up a box of Coronas and 2 limes, I guess I'll watch Canadian football tonight. I know, first world problems. :)

You could watch Curling. A lot less frustrating than this Yankees squad.

Montas after giving up 6 runs to the Jays: I thought I threw the ball pretty well.
If that is not infuriating. And I'm sick of Boone agreeing with his pitchers who get bombed. I know he won't throw his players under the bus (and he shouldn't) but come on. Stop being a cheerleader and be a manager.

Didn’t see the game but from what I read he seemed to have good stuff, was it location or just good hitting that got him shellacked?

I certainly can’t comment on the specifics but the blue jays probably have the most well rounded offense in baseball, perhaps alongside the Astros.

Not sure how you can say you have good stuff and allow 6 runs. Certainly wasn’t executed.

Sometimes the hitters just get you.I’ve watched plenty of baseball games where a pitcher only gives up one run and the announcers will say he made one mistake all game, yeah right.A lot of time luck plays a part and sometimes the hitter just makes a quality swing and can still hit a good pitch.Anyhow I was just curious if he looked way off or the Blue Jays just had quality at bats.

Isn't it free on Apple TV?

Offense is absolutely yikes. Two more shutouts next week coming too?
