Don't over look the fact that the interview was done at a golf tournament at which 20 football players appeared as part of an NIL contract obligation.

I’m hearing there is another candidate besides Illoa and reed they could startInteresting to hear Josh Illoa has the center job currently. He did gain a bunch of weight I believe and has some legit competition. Nice to hear he's rising to the challenge.

So she's wrong because you said so?Emily said he was positioned as a backup. Bless her heart but I wouldn’t take her analysis at any value.
Most of her position group reviews didnt even include all the players.
BG will be starting by Purdue. He has 1+ month. (I have no inside info)
I don’t know that we are, they just haven’t appeared in any of the videos released by the team recently. Wohlabaugh was with the first team line at RT, now it’s Petry. Why would you think we are down Bleich and Wohlabaugh?
I don't think we can conclude anything from random videos from the second week of camp.I don’t know that we are, they just haven’t appeared in any of the videos released by the team recently. Wohlabaugh was with the first team line at RT, now it’s Petry.
I could see him playing half game in the first two.
This is an encouraging clip of Thompson in coverage. I’ve been concerned about the coverage surrounding him so far in camp. If he’s not 100% he needs to sit for Colgate and WMU.
Maybe he plays the first half to get back into game shape against WMU. But he should be on a snap count until Purdue if the knee is still an issue.
not good the trainer Brandon Hall is walking off a hurt player at the end of one of those clips? Already had a green jersey ? Maybe Alford? I can’t tell.
That didn't look all that encouraging to me. Seems like he has a ways to go to be fully healthy. I guess probably not totally unexpected but I was hoping he was closer to 100%. From that clip I don't think he's going to be ready to play in games even at a reduced snap count by week 1. That would be very unfortunate.

Nice. Think we see lots of plays like this in 2023.LeQuint torching Mekhi Mason:
First guy mentioned when asked about receivers is Kendall Long. Had 2 TD's in the scrimmage including that behind the back highlight reel catch. If he breaks out we've got a really solid group of WR's this year.
