Meh. Outside a couple pitchers it's a crap shoot to start the year. Guys who were bad for a few years might find a good groove for a year or guys who were very good just fall off.I did no real prep, but I decided I would try a new drafting approach this year after the Alek Manoah fiasco from last year (he was my 2nd or 3rd round pick (and some other bust starting pitcher IIRC)
Drafted 8 position players first. They seem "surer" things.
Then drafted a starter, a few closers, and then made a run on starting pitchers for 8 picks in a row or something, before I went back to position players to close my team out.
Don't know if it will work - offensive depth could be an issue, and I will have no "star" starter.
I don't feel great about my team, which means I will probably go on a tear this year.My deep-dive analysis into my team after last night's draft:
"Meh".
Dude will take the fall for him and get rewarded on the back endUh oh. Starting to hope that Ohtani is too big to be brought down...:
MLB has started an investigation. Not sure they can cover it up...Dude will take the fall for him and get rewarded on the back end
