2023 SyracuseFan Fantasy Baseball??

I did no real prep, but I decided I would try a new drafting approach this year after the Alek Manoah fiasco from last year (he was my 2nd or 3rd round pick (and some other bust starting pitcher IIRC)

Drafted 8 position players first. They seem "surer" things.
Then drafted a starter, a few closers, and then made a run on starting pitchers for 8 picks in a row or something, before I went back to position players to close my team out.

Don't know if it will work - offensive depth could be an issue, and I will have no "star" starter.

Meh. Outside a couple pitchers it's a crap shoot to start the year. Guys who were bad for a few years might find a good groove for a year or guys who were very good just fall off.

Same with hitters, though pitching seems to be dependent on quality of team and run support.
 
I got in a few seconds late and Bobby Witt was already drafted for me at #2. Not sure he would have been my choice but it could be much worse. But overall, I love my infield, outfield is wait and see, I think my relievers will be good, little nervous about my starting pitching.
