SMU is in a great position to continue right along. Access to all that Texas talent and now can offer a spot in the P4 to showcase it. Of course they can flail around like FSU is doing now, but they seem to have their stuff together. IMO they are the biggest winner of the latest round of conference reshuffling.

Texas is the only state with 4 private D1 schools. The pockets are very, very, deep.
