2024-25 College Football Playoff TV Schedule

With a 25 team field, wouldn’t that maintain the same issue except this time the debate is 9-3 teams who played easy schedules vs. 7-5 teams who played hard schedules? There will always be this debate regardless of the size of the playoff field.
yes, but as the field expands the debate becomes more trivial as the teams getting left out have no realistic shot of winning a championship. Bama, Ole Miss, Gamecocks could be contenders but are getting left out over others (Indiana/Smu) due to way harder schedule

So if Clemson can hold on these next 50 mins, all of a sudden things might end up...

B1G 2-1
ACC 1-1
SEC 0-2

With the lone SEC team left having no QB. Wouldn't it be funny if the SEC went 0-3 in this playoffs?

Clemson is my rooting interest for the playoffs, and that tastes really crappy in my mouth.

This really shouldn't be a surprise. With two weeks prep and a home game why would we expect a close game when it is...

The road teams are in no way legit title contenders. There is a clear gap between them and the teams they play. Any of those games would be a big upset. Even tonight's game given the home game would be an upset. The problem is there isn't more than 4-5 real contenders in a given season. This expansion was all for $, not adding quality games.

Another issue is giving teams like Boise State and ASU byes. Now you have better teams in round one that should br in the top four. They need to get rid of the automatic byes and seed them like hoops does.

Agree not a surprise but evidence that expanding the field will result in more boring blowouts.

That's a terrible flag on that pick six. Refs have been home cooking all weekend.
Don’t know about the rest of the penalties but that was definitely a blindside block. If he just screened the guy it would of been ok but you can’t blowup a guy from that position.
