Well Ohio state is careering and Tenn is terrible right now. These games stink lol
This means SEC is overrated and shouldn't be in playoffs. Am I doing that right LOL

Agreed. Honestly the big issue might be the time between games. The weekly grind yields closer games. Once these teams have 2-3 weeks off… blowout city.9 out 16 BCS Championship Games weren't close. 20 out of 30 games in the 4 team format weren't close. These blowouts don't mean anything regarding the format itself being worse

Miami, Old Miss, Alabama and South Carolina are better than several of these teams, including teams that have won.
The media was ragging on SMU and Indiana not being competitive. What about Tennessee? They look totally outclassed by OSU.
This is going to happen to the SEC every year. They will eat each other up. Adding Texas and Oklahoma is going to end up hurting teams. It will be hard to have only two losses in the SEC. Let them whine all they want!Who knows though. Tennessee beat Alabama.
Thats partially why I’d expand even more.
You may have spoke too soon.Real question is, why has the ACC refs in this game called a better game then any ACC game they have reffed for there own conference this year?

i think they’ve been average this game. Shows what I think of them when they ref the ACC gamesthey haven’t. They’ve been pretty awful imo.
The ACC schools stunk and are responsible for 2/4 weak games. Indiana had a miracle season but played noone OOC and ND was good this year.i was hyped for these games. They’ve all been a total bust .
Is home field that important or should the seeding be changed. Lean towards the latter but then the factories don’t get to experience what looks to be an unforgettable playoff gameday experience . I wish they get rid of bowl games all together, reward the top seeded teams with home games, and chance to earn extra money for the school, community, and do the final game rotating between the major bowls, or scrap them all together and do the final game how they currently do it. The biggest takeaway from the weekend is there needs to be more on-campus playoff games. These scenes are the best part.
Why reward Ohio St for dropping the Michigan game and not playing the CCG?so Oregon gets Ohio State and Ped St gets Boise St in the second round. Makes sense.

Oregon has beat them the other 3 teams that won this weekend look just as good.
Two will be dogs because they don't deserve to be a top four seed. Boise and ASU.Will be interesting to see if the longer layoff is a disadvantage to the Top 4 seeds. Heck all four might end up being underdogs by game time.

Oregon has to be pissed that they are getting OSU for their first playoff game.
I count 5 games that the current SEC got stomped in the 4 team playoff. 3 of those were Oklahoma (two of those loses by other SEC teams). Clemson is the team with the other 2 stomping of current SEC teams (Bama and Oklahoma) in the playoffs historyThe ACC schools stunk and are responsible for 2/4 weak games. Tennessee not being competitive is tough to explain bc the SEC has never been beaten badly like this in the playoffs.
