Last year Fran had said if they go for 1 year guys it's because they think they can be an NFL guy. Maybe that's the standard going forward too

Yes, he is a very good player. Very likely a future pro.

An 'NFL' guy' could mean anything from a 1st round draft choice to a UDFA that ends up as a Practice Squad Player. As long as they quickly fill a need we have, play well to win games, I'm fine with it.

Could be, although they would have been perhaps three years apart. We should be involved with players from that school every year. I have no doubt that we will be as long as Fran's here.
