He could be great. If he joins the team I hope is great.
My comments were not about Fran Brown Jr. I simply believe there is potential for a problem anytime the head coach’s son is on the roster. It has happened several times across the country over the years.
If Fran Brown Jr joins the team I wish him the best and hope he is very successful. I trust Coach Fran will handle the situation appropriately.

I remember being so excited for Pete. We had pretty much nothing in the QB room at the time and he was our one great hope.
As it turns out, there was no reason for that.
Glad the second QB transfer we got from Oio State turned out a bit better.
We got a righty qb from them…would love to get a lefty qb from them.

Washington State quarterback John Mateer is entering the transfer portal, Cougars coach Jake Dickert confirmed Monday. He's the No. 1-ranked player available, according to 247Sports' rankings.
"College football is in a different spot than it was five years ago, 10 years ago," Dickert told reporters. "John will be the most sought-after player in the portal, I think he's gonna be the best player in the country next year. He informed us he is in fact going to hit the portal."

I think Oklahoma has already bought and paid for him.
He came in with us down 35-14 against a good Maryland team when Bill hurley and Ron Farneski got hurt, and led us to back to back td's. Never got in another game as a QB that I remember
