A solid percentage of Portal kids end up signing with a coach that they know. Others end up signing with teams close to home and of course some just follow the money. I think that we are going to do well long term with kids that we recruited out of HS and didnt land and or kids that want to come back east

Would make a lot of sense for Cuse. I have to be honest, its mildly alarming that a majority of the players we are aligned with aren't even making it to the visit. They have other visits planned prior and commit before even making it to the Hill. I don't believe that to be an NIL issue although some people I spoke with seem to think so. I'm not sure what the correct answer is aside from getting them in first. Hopefully that streak breaks and breaks soon!

If we had more players than roster spots, the numbers would have to work themselves out and they always do. Right now we’re not bringing anyone else in because there’s no room. The numbers are already worked out.

We have two maybe three spots open. More spots will open IF other guys leave after spring but that’s not guaranteed.

68 of the 102/103 are sophomores or freshman.

Fran was very clear about the portal this year and nobody wanted to listen.
