I'm kinda confused about the algorithm. For example, Magee from Drexel is basically rated higher than Bell in every category but it projects that he'd be below average if he goes Power 6 while Bell is excellent. Maybe boils down to level of competition? Idk.

Eventually, all the elite guys who enter the portal will have "do not contact" tags. Meaning, that as a program, if you're going to succeed in the portal (versus just getting scraps), you have to embrace tampering. Most of the "serious" programs are already doing it. I hope Cuse isn't above doing this, as we've already lost guys due to other programs doing it.

Do Not Contact typically means that they want you to go through their agent as opposed to the player directly

Agreed. Please pass. Every guy we are listed with seems to be sub 32% from 3. It’s almost like we are doing it on purpose.

Maybe look at what he can do instead of what you think he can’t.

He was the Horizon League Defensive POY. He is a shot blocking extraordinaire. I would LOVE to have him on our team.
He shot 36% from 3 in JUCO so it’s not that he can’t shoot at all. He just isn’t a shooter. He also shot 61% from 2 and 52% overall.

His per 40 stats were 18pts 8reb 3blk 1.5stl

Even at relatively low percentages, he'll probably provide at least a little value by being a willing shooter that sometimes knocks them down at a decent clip. I assume we're targeting him as a bench forward...you're not going to find a guy that provides lockdown defense and good shooting to come off our bench.

I can't believe some of us don't want this guy...did anyone watch the Alabama game in the tournament?!? He was the best player on the floor. I said to myself while watching it that I'd take him in a heartbeat

No way this guy will come off the bench. Our defense was one of the worst of all time. IMO he plays over Freeman and White. Maybe he could team with Freeman as our two forwards. That’d be nice. Honestly he would be the perfect forward for JB’s 2/3 defense.

He's a good player. He does not mesh well with who we are projected to have. We need complementary pieces. I have concerns we have not learned from the last 2 seasons and are going all in on the same style of offensive play.

Amarion Dickerson is an absolutely PERFECT fit next to Freeman. Guy jumps out the gym and perfect rim runner for Freeman to pick and pop. Vacate the dunker spot. Plus he can make shots.
