I guess the Lally’s didn’t put their name on the football building.

Those are different types of donations though. Pretty sure the Lally's gave to the University, not John Doe SF from West Kalamazoo. Pretty sure they've given to the University repeatedly throughout the years.

Also, I am not aware of any nonalumni in the University's modern era who have their name on a building. Dineen, Falk, Goldstein, Davis, Barnes, Anthony, Newhouse, Ensley, etc. I believe that is done non only to recognize their financial contributions to the school, but to recognize and promote their prominence as successful graduates.

Can you imagine what happens if this happens? Are coaches saving places for the addition of any of these players, will there be another lawsuit if players who are currently committed get over recruited but are stuck because of timing, if this lawsuit is approved? I can see bedlam ahead.

Really? If the Saudi's offered me 1 billion bucks, and I mean it, I would tell them to, well you know
Not me. I believe a member of the richest Saudi family was a student here. If he somehow loved Cuse sports and wanted to tap into his family's riches, you're telling me you would turn it down??

I am. I have the money I have. If someone else wanted to take Saudi money, that is on them. There are a lot of groups I wouldn't take money from.

So just to confirm, you'd take money from anyone? Private Equity? The Saudi gov't?
Since neither of those entities are giving money away without a likely return on investment I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Such a silly absurd argument.

I must have missed where Weitsman is looking to buy a stake in the athletic department.
