Would've been a fun bowl with a full contingent from both sides. McCord vs Mateer would be money, Jakhari vs Wazzu's backup is not.

A chance for a 10th win versus a good team in a beautiful city. My lord some of you are reacting like this is the Fenway Bowl.

And you are acting like because you get to see the game it is the most important thing. Not for the rest of us. I wanted a quality opponent. San Diego is fine as long as it was a real good foe. Someone that would move the needle. This doesn't do that. Have fun at the game.

Last years Holiday Bowl was #15 Ville vs Wisky, the Gator was #22 Clemson vs UK. Just out of curiosity is there a big difference in prestige here or just about location?
