Sometimes adversity strengthens the will of those that remain. Couple that with Syracuse coming off an extended bye of sorts and the fact we are the only game on television at that time (which usually does not bode well), I think we all should reserve our confidence of a blowout until the game actually kicks off

Yeah, their dumb metric assumes Wazzu is unchanged from the 8-4 squad.

When nothing could be further from the truth.

Even if the only change was at QB, that’s still massive for a game that likely will be high-scoring
At least on one side now.
Their QB2 transferred in from Bryant, and has a total of 19 game snaps this season.

I’d be shocked if Cuse doesn’t win by 3+ scores.

The WSU interim HC indicated that their portal guys were offered the opportunity to play in this bowl game. And some will.

Also, for any SU faithful at the game tonight, be aware that after the game (SU win, 41-22), the Holiday Bowl will present the KFMB SkyShow, which is a well above grade fireworks program. It’ll be big. It has been a San Diego tradition for decades, most often attached to first a select Padres, and then Aztec games. Now, for the first time, it will follow the Holiday Bowl as the game returns to Mission Valley (after three years at Petco Park). It’s worth sticking around for.

Liberty Bowl kicks at 7:00, and the Vegas Bowl at 10:30. Both will overlap our game.
