It was reported on Minneapolis TV last night that Texas Tech offered Hawkins $280,000 more than the Gophers were offering him. Sounds like this very good PG will likely to to Texas Tech but Kentucky is still interested.

Several B1G schools are having player transfer issues because while their school athletic budget may be high, their NIL accounts are not coming close to matching the southern schools. The Gophers HC said that players no longer care about nice practice facilities or the school's reputation but only NIL money.
