One theory punctured. Might Class of '52 Stadium been unavailable for another reason? Did Princeton just not want to host? Other?

Was there a doubleheader at the Dome that day? Or were there 4 different sites, each feeding a winner to the Final Four? The site was picked well in advance. It’s how they do things now, just as if Navy somehow made the second round as a seven seed, they could end up “hosting” the second seed at their home stadium.
makes sense, they were at the Dome the last time the orange played themSo at Cornell, interesting
Seems to confirm what we've been hearing.
Boston was dropped due to some scheduling conflict with the basketball team.Definitely a stacked OOC, lot's of tough games for sure, Delaware is definitely no gimmie either, though Vermont seems like it it will take a step back with all their losses to transfer and graduation. Still think the addition of Maryland was overkill when you look at how good Army, Cornell Hopkins are projected this year plus ND Duke and UVA in conference but if you feel you got a great team no better way to find out then to play an elite OOC.

We're playing Notre Dame on Sat, Feb 24. It's Jim Boeheim Appreciation Day.
WBB has the Dome on Feb 25.
Another poster said Manhattan will be on the schedule which I believe has been mentioned here before. So the schedule at this point looks something like this?
Non-Conference:
Army
Cornell
Delaware
High Point
Hobart (?)
Hopkins
Manhattan
Maryland
Vermont
ACC:
Duke
North Carolina
Notre Dame
Virginia
That's 13 games. Will they add another? Last year they played 15 but that was without the ACC Tournament. I imagine they will scrimmage twice this spring which will leave 14 competition dates open, if the limit is 17.
I am kind of over playing Maryland, I think in terms of talent, SU is probably pretty even this year but they just don't seem to match-up well with what Tillman does. Perhaps that changes this year. For personal reasons I wish they were playing BU. Albany could make sense if it's a logistical thing, but I think adding another Ivy League team would be best. They are not apparently playing Princeton which is strange just playing them once.
Home game guesses: Army, Hight Point, Manhattan, Maryland, Vermont, Hobart, Duke, Virginia
Away/Neutral Site game guesses: Cornell, Delaware (n), Hopkins (n), UNC (n), Notre Dame
Only two true road games seems kind of unlikely but you never know? I am probably missing something super obvious.
They are looking to replace Boston. Not sure who the opponent will be but Utah was mentioned.I think its unlikely they only play 13 games, I suspect another mid level team will be added to the schedule. I would be pretty surprised if Albany doesn't find its way on there.

au contraire, cuse has played the terps well when they haven't had an equal team. given they want to be on the upswing, now is exactly when they want to play maryland. imo.Another poster said Manhattan will be on the schedule which I believe has been mentioned here before. They are playing Hobart. No info on Albany.Good news. Any info on Albany are they off for sure? Hobart is on though correct?
the classic catch 22. cuse needs unc to be good, but not that good (and vice versa) so that they dont take their spot on a hypothetical bubble. or just be so good that it doesnt matter where anybody else finishes. on paper i def like cuse's roster more than unc'sau contraire, cuse has played the terps well when they haven't had an equal team. given they want to be on the upswing, now is exactly when they want to play maryland. imo.
need to hope that 2 of 3 b/t army, cornell and delaware have good seasons, and that unc outperforms, or their sked may look a game or 2 short. boston would've been a good one, as they've managed to be there several seasons in a row. utah would be good insurance and give them another possible top 20.
No Albany this year. They are playing Hobart. No info on Albany.
No Albany this year.
I may have posted this previously, but UVa's game vs. UNC will be on April 6.
