Shocking that a total buffoon who never coached above high school and who chose as his QB/team leader a guy who was arrested for child pornography didn’t work out

Of course. This is an ABSURD overpay for coach with one and a half years of P5 success. And it won't stop a blue blood from hiring him away either.
How many consecutive 5 to 7 win seasons would it take for Indiana to regret this? This is an ABSURD overpay for coach with one and a half years of P5 success. And it won't stop a blue blood from hiring him away either.
How? I disagree. He's going to take Indiana to the playoffs 2 years in a row out of the 2 he's been there. Its very clear he's an elite coachThis is an ABSURD overpay for coach with one and a half years of P5 success. And it won't stop a blue blood from hiring him away either.
Because it's not enough money to keep him from leaving for a blue blood, and it's a hell of a lot of money if he backslides and turns into a Mel Tucker. How? I disagree. He's going to take Indiana to the playoffs 2 years in a row out of the 2 he's been there. Its very clear he's an elite coach
This makes him the 3rd highest paid coach in all of College Football. I guess someone could swoop in and make him the highest paid, but if they keep performing at a high level I don't see him leaving making that much money. They've had fairly easy schedules the last two seasons, and while the Oregon win was impressive, not many of the other wins were.
Have a chance to compete for playoffs with more limited resources at Indiana, or compete for titles with unlimited resources at a blue blood? This makes him the 3rd highest paid coach in all of College Football. I read somewhere (here?) that Indiana FB has surprising financial support.Have a chance to compete for playoffs with more limited resources at Indiana, or compete for titles with unlimited resources at a blue blood?
Money isn't the motivating factor for most football coaches. It will ALWAYS be about winning.
If Bama came calling he'd be gone in a heartbeat.

If Indiana can afford it, any of the big SEC/B1G schools can.How many schools are paying more than 11.6 million?
Maybe not any more. PSU is counting on the Adidas money.Indiana counting on that VC money?
