I wonder if Md can't afford a new coach. Maybe they're waiting for the possible cash infusion of the B1G selling 10% of its media rights to the Univ of California pension system, which Michigan & USC oppose.

I’m pretty sure a big donor for them said they literally couldn’t afford a big coach a couple weeks ago.
