I remember the press conference where Al Davis announced he was firing Kiffin and basically called him a lowlife. Did he interview here at one point with Doc Hollywood? Didn't people on this board think he was coming here because there was some photograph of his wife wearing an orange sweater or something like that? I seem to remember something like that.

I can’t remember if he interviewed or not but if i remember correctly his wife said no because of the weather

I did some research and apparently there was mutual interest because Doc Hollywood and Kiffin knew each other from their USC days. From what I read there was an interview or at least serious conversations but obviously never went anywhere.

Everything Kiffin does/says is a turnoff. Burns bridges wherever he goes and always makes himself out to be the victim.

Wow. I don't hate any of these hires as an objective third party. But if you're part of an insane SEC fanbase, are you really happy with these hires? Crazy year.

I think all SEC fan bases are insane, to a degree. I expect there will be a regular turnover of 3 SEC jobs every season.
