Dylan Raiola will be one of the top QBs to hit the portal. I'll be stunned if he doesn't already have a program and negotiated deal on the table.and his brother decommitted.

Same few schools in the mix for the top QBs. Will be interesting to see who Miami ends up with as we will probably end up playing them next season, right?
That stinks, I would’ve loved to play Miami next season as I think we’ll be a much improved team. To beat them next year and shut up all of Miami’s horrible fanbase would’ve been nice.Nope not for like 3 years or maybe even 4.
If that happens and Ryan Puglisi hits the portal, I wonder if Fran gets involved there. Northeast kid and super talented.Feeling like it could be Georgia here. He initially committed them out of High School and Stockton could declare for the draft.

The Dylan Raiola who played for Nebraska?Raiola though, anyone who watches his film has to wonder how he helps them. Makes bad decisions, turns it over, can't make big plays, and has accuracy issues. neb gave him tons of chances and a decent running game and he caused probably 4-6 of the losses they took.
Texas Tech and LSU in the rumor millFeeling like it could be Georgia here. He initially committed them out of High School and Stockton could declare for the draft.
Listed his actual stats because they didn't seem to jive with your characterization of: "Makes bad decisions, turns it over, can't make big plays, and has accuracy issues."did you watch the games or pick the stats? I saw every game.
We will meet in the ACC championship game next year. That stinks, I would’ve loved to play Miami next season as I think we’ll be a much improved team. To beat them next year and shut up all of Miami’s horrible fanbase would’ve been nice.
Still need a backup and top portal guys aren't willing to wait. For the top schools, they never really need to recruit HS QBs again. They could just buy the best Sophs yearly, rinse and repeat.
stats aren't everything, but you cant be considered turnover prone when you average less than a pick a game. He can definitely improve but 2.5% INT rate for a sophomore isnt all that bad.Listed his actual stats because they didn't seem to jive with your characterization of: "Makes bad decisions, turns it over, can't make big plays, and has accuracy issues."
Have you watched our OL? They couldn't handle UConn's front.I think he would get sacked less because he wouldn't be going against SEC defensive fronts. The odds of this happening are slim to none, I was simply saying he would be a huge get.
yeah, I was confused by the OP's claims given Raiola's stats for the season. But the OP did say he watched "ever game" (vs looking at stats).Don't forget he accounted for 4 - 6 losses in the 3 games he played where they lost.

Me too. Shorter kid but he can freakin ball outI like these big ones hitting the portal. I really want the western carolina kid.
Maybe you are mixing him up with someone else? This kid, Taron Dickens, completed almost 75% this year with 38 TDs and only 2 INT’s. In 2024 he played a lot less but completed 73% and was 12/3 TD/INTStaff seems to like him. From the limited highlights I've seen - and fully acknowledging the danger/stupidity in making assumptions based on those - he seems to throw off his back foot a lot. Completion percentage (60%) and TD/Int stats caught my attention too.
But it's hard not to be impressed with 30 passing TDs for the season. We could, and have done, much worse.
You are absolutely right. I was looking at the West Florida QB. Thanks for the heads up, djorange1989Maybe you are mixing him up with someone else? This kid, Taron Dickens, completed almost 75% this year with 38 TDs and only 2 INT’s. In 2024 he played a lot less but completed 73% and was 12/3 TD/INT
