2025-26 Yankees Off Season / Spring Training

I read somewhere that the Marlins wanted Ben Hess as one of the prospects in return and Cashman wasn't willing to include him.

Cashman hugs the prospects to death

Yanks reportedly offered 5 years, $150 mil...

Give him 160 mil for five years and load it with incentives that could reach 175 mil, but he will have to truly earn it. If he had been a Yankee for 5+ years, maybe you up the yearly amount as a gesture of good faith and a “thank you” but he hasn’t earned “Judge Money” at this point in his career.

Jones was the Yankees’ No. 15 prospect per @MLBPipeline. Lewis was No. 16 and Jasso No. 23.

Ryan Weathers has a 3.74 ERA over 24 starts the last 2 years, but also has plenty of bullpen experience. The lefty is only 26 and won't be a free agent until 2029. His dad, David, played for the Yankees as well.

Hard to have to much of an opinion either way on this move to be honest. Didn't give up a top 10 prospect and Weathers gives some flexibility if he can stay healthy. Really need to get an OF in here but this seems like a logical move with all the SP injuries.

Pretty much this. Its just depth until June/July.

Even with their trade for Weathers, it doesn’t take the Yankees out on trading for a high-level starter (Peralta, Gore, etc.)

This is so dumb

Report is 4 years at $240 million. $60/yr. I think that's what Judge gets. Will be interesting to see how this affects Cody Bellinger. He wants 7 yrs. Tucker's contract may undercut that. Can the NYY make an offer he will agree to?

Aaron Judge doesn’t even get that much money per year (He gets $40 million a year). Kyle Tucker has the second highest AAV in MLB history, only behind Shohei Ohtani.
