2025 Aflac Kickoff Game - Tickets

Have we ever sold 10K for any game more than hrs away?

And its a yr where we go to Clem/Miami/ND as well dont we?

It will take a good ending and tons of hype to get it done.
UNLV, Camping World , Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl

Yes.

Camping World Bowl had close to 20K Cuse fans

UNLV was at least 8K and maybe 10K
Yep ,Sugar Bowl 25k. I’ll bet there have been a couple of others

we didn't sell 10k for unlv.

a Random bowl game 40 yrs ago?

we will have no hype, we sell 20K of season tickets.

Now we may get the odd local who lives down there or FL to go.

if we had won 9-10 games and had the team coming back we would have energy

anyone with kids going back to school has a tough time swinging a Labor Day game locally they gonna drop several K to go play a game we might get smoked again?

Im talking about how many Syracuse fans are in the building. We often don’t have a big group in our official section. I’ve been to about 30 away games and never sat in the SU “official “ seats.

I know

But UNLV only had 31K in the bldg. They sell about that for every game except the Boise one.

There may have been 3-5K of SU fans there

for the Atlanta game SU probably is on the hook for tickets, if they have 5k they wont move that many. People will always look for the cheaper price

nope. talked with many who were though.
I was there...we had 25% of the crowd. TV didn't show it but the visitors side was definitely a majority in Orange

BTW, our crowd was the 3rd biggest ever at the time...so it was definitely above average. They made Syracuse the most expensive ticket in their unlv tix package too.

I was at the game.

The one whole lower sideline was full of orange.

We had 8-10k at UNLV easily

So if we had 25% of the crowd we had like 5-7k.

And many saw it as a dest/trip as well.

Is Atlanta going to draw nearly as well?

So a normal game UNLV sells 30K and this game they sold 30K? Why did the 10K not show up?

I was told by some people they thought we brought 3-5K. and thats a great number.

25% of 31k+ is nearly 8K.

I think we will bring 5-7K to ATL

UNLV averaged 24.7K for their home games in 2023.

25% of 31, 329, the actual size of the crowd for the Syracuse game, is 7832.25.

I think we had about 9K but it is hard to say for sure from the middle of the Syracuse crowd. 3-5K is ludicrious.

Because in '23 they averaged 23K

24' season attendance steadily increased. 30K wasn't a normal number until Cuse and Boise

Edit: this sez 23.7k in '23

just going by what I was told by people there who talked with SU officials.

UNLV this year
25k
25K
31K SU
42k Boise

That points to a 5k bump for the SU game. If we brough 10K then UNLV fans stayed home in droves for the biggest game of the year so far.

I do think how we finish this year and the portal could impact SU attendance in Atlanta. However, I do think we will have a baseline of 10,000 fans, but probably more. I got to think there will be UGA fans there as well pulling for Fran.

Maybe no hand outs?
It was the premium game

The Utah Tech and Fresno games probably brought 1-4 thousand themselves. Utah Tech is only 2 hrs away in St. George

I don't think casual fans show up at $150 a tix

The pricing is ridiculous

maybe.

I would hope UNLV fans also turned out more with the hype building.

I'm not sure how many CNY STHers want to travel to steamy ATL over Labor Day weekend. SE based Cuse fans are very fickle.

I think pricing is a big deal.

I get to go to ND probably once in my life just to check it out. Thats a bigger deal to me than going to see a game in Atlanta.

Now if I thought we might go 11-1 next yr I could start the prep work on 3-4 road trips with that schedule.
But expecting 4-5 wins thats a hard sell on the home front.

There are gonna be 70000 Tennessee fans there unfortunately. But their fans are actually normal from what I’ve experienced. I took an official visit to Tenn and everyone was super nice then too

I got my email about 2 hrs ago for 2025 renewal. I am a first year season ticket holder. I have the option to buy 2025 kickoff game at $225 for 100 level seats.
Crazy. I was not given an offer. I was offered free cuse bball versus Georgetown tickets if I renewed by December 1 but nothing for Aflac game. Hmm
