353 left: Our first two “failed to make the conference tournament” eliminations of the season. New Orleans has failed to qualify in the Southland. Bellarmine has failed to qualify in the ASun.

352 left: Western Illinois will not make the OVC tournament.

351 left: Cal State Fullerton is fully out of the Big West tournament.

350 left: Eastern Illinois isn’t making the OVC tournament.

349 left: Columbia has never made the Ivy League tournament (first held in 2017) and that will remain true this season.

348 left: Northern Illinois becomes the third Illinois team eliminated this week, failing to qualify for the MAC tournament.

347 left: Mississippi Valley State—ranked 364th (dead last) on Ken Pom—won’t be in the SWAC tournament. They currently rank dead last in both offensive and defensive efficiency, a feat last achieved by none other than… Mississippi Valley State in 2021.

346 left: For any Buffalo fans afraid of another heartbreaking postseason loss after what happened with the Bills, don’t worry: the Bulls won’t even be in the MAC tournament.

345 left: Miami (FL) becomes the first power conference team to be eliminated, failing to qualify for the ACC tournament in a brutal fall from their Final Four appearance just two years ago.

344 left: NJIT has not won an American East tourney game since joining in 20-21. They were the sole team not to qualify last season and now once again find themselves as the odd team out.

343 left: Penn becomes the second Ivy League team to fall before Ivy Madness.

342 left: Canisius hasn’t won their conference tournament since 1996 and this year won’t even be in the MAAC tournament.

341 left: Penn State fans can now officially say WE ARE not going to the Big Ten tournament.

339 left: Simultaneous double elimination! StephenFAustin and UT Rio Grande are both now out of the Southland tournament picture thanks to a UIW win.

338 left: Washington will have to wait another year for a chance to play in their first Big Ten tournament.

337 left: Long Beach State fails to qualify for the Big West tournament in a disappointing follow up to their appearance in the Big Dance last year.

336 left: Boston College hasn’t been to the NCAA tournament since 2009 and that drought will continue as they miss the ACC tournament. It’s the second longest drought of all power conference teams only trailing DePaul (2004).

335 left: Harvard won’t make Ivy Madness this year despite yesterday’s upset win thanks to Cornell’s win today. It’s now been 10 years since the Crimson last appeared in the NCAA tournament.

334 left: North Florida held a 7-point halftime lead but got blown out in the second half to become the first conference tournament game elimination of the year!

333 left: Hats off to Stetson for making the NCAA tournament last year, but they’ll fall in the first round of the ASun tournament this time.

331 left. Eastern Kentucky led by 11 at the half but ends up losing by 11 in the end.

330 left. Florida Gulf Coast won’t be recreating the days of Dunk City this season.

329 left. Pour one out for @NMTC_Hoops as Central Arkansas won’t be making its first NCAA tournament this year.

I don't see NC St. on that list. Aren't they officially out as well?

I think (based on a quick look at the standings and schedules)) that since NC St beat ND, and they are only 2 games behind ND (4-14 vs. 6-12), if ND loses their last 2 and NC St wins their last two, they would own the tie-breaker over ND, and hence, not technically eliminated yet.

Ah yes I was focused just on NC St. not being able to overtake SU.

327 left. Green Bay’s season goes radio silent.

326 left. Holy Cross loses in a heartbreaker.

325 left. Detroit Mercy has given mercy.

324 left. Lehigh goes out on a low note.

323 left. IU Indy doesn’t make it far in their first season since changing from IUPUI.

322 left. UL Monroe falls in overtime.

320 left. Chicago State loses in their first ever NEC tournament game.

319 left. Wagner won’t be repeating as NEC tourney champs.

318 left. Tennessee Tech falls after leading by 7 at the half.

317 left. Oral Roberts won’t be dancing—which makes sense given “social dancing” is prohibited per the school’s code of conduct.

316 left. USC Upstate bites the dust.

315 left. Louisiana fans must be ragin’ after an early Sun Belt tourney exit.

314 left. NC State won’t be making a miracle ACC tournament run this season as they are officially the last team that won’t qualify.

313 left. Morehead State won’t be repeating as OVC champs.

This is really cool, how you are doing this by the way. Posting the teams as they are eliminated. Thanks. The Small conference torunaments starting, and leading into championship week used to be one of my favorite things in sports and sadly that has dulled over the last few years. In a wierd way this sorta rekindles a little bit of that excitement for some reason.
