Didn't realize this was only the first year that UC San Diego was eligible. They are #36 in KenPom, which is amazing.

Not some pushover #14-#15 seed you often see as the Big West Champ.
They will be a #11 or #12 seed.

Nelson who is maybe 'Bama best/most important player didn't play in the second half due to injury. Florida won the second half by 20.

Florida is a really good team but they didn't dominate a full strength Bama team.

Sure but they also coasted at Bama in what could've easily been a double digit final and led wire to wire at Auburn. I was kinda hoping for a different sec tourney so that they'd be a less popular pick in the ncaas.

True.
But the absolute no nonsense domination on both ends of the floor was jaw dropping.
And Nate Oats either didn't or couldn't do anything about it.
