Is Gattis good enough to remain as WR coach?

Johnson with QB? Presumably Fran really appreciates the need to develop the young guys so this position needs to be technically solid.

Any rumors about whether Nixon plans to stay?

It seems that there were an abundance of opportunities for Wright to show off some defensive coordinator expertise.

Gattis - Yes, he won the Broyles award for top assist
Johnson - I think so but not 100% sold on him

Syracuse football assistant coaches Ricky Brumfield, Joe Schafer, Dale Williams and Robert Wright will not be retained for the 2026 season, Head Coach Fran Brown announced on Tuesday. Anyone hear or know who will be the incoming replacements?

Just scan the thread titles on this board for updates. At least in the Fran era, I think every new hire has been given his own thread.

Looking at OX's post at the top of this thread, we have 3 spots open. Assuming Kehres does coach LB's, we have openings at DB/S and ST. With the 3 spots I would do one of two things.

If we are going to be DB-heavy then maybe use 2 of the spots for the secondary and tell Fran to butt out for most of the time and focus on HC stuff. And get a ST guy with the last spot.

If we have one superstar who can handle all the DB's, then do so, get a ST guy, take the RB role away from Nixon and get a RB coach who is really there for recruiting.

Either way, recruiting chops are a plus, I'd even say we need another solid recruiter in one of the 3 remaining spots.

Curious as to whether Hawkins will coach interior DL as well as DE's. Seems like a lot to cover for one coach.

The sad part is you can bet he lives comfortably … donate the clothing and move on. This just screams attention seeking and asking for pity. Had you not coached turnstiles you wouldn’t need to sell anything. Bitter bitch pill.
