2025 MLB Season

Both pitchers need to eat innings tonight. Normal circumstances I think that favors Ohtani but after last night, I don't see how he can do it.
I think he’ll be fine. He was a DH. He walked 5 times, jogged 4 times with easy stand up doubles and the homers.

I imagine he got a good nights sleep, lots of fluids, and will be ready to go. It is supposed to be almost 90 degrees there when the game starts so that could be a potential factor for both pitchers.

wish they would schedule 1 afternoon game. last game before travel would be ideal. you can't tell me they'd have fewer eyeballs during the day than at 2 am in the morning.

They would have fewer eyeballs. That game was an exception.

Not sure why managers pitch to Ohtani or Vlad Jr. . I would just walk them everytime. I'm having flashbacks to my Cardinals trying to pitch to Big Papi.

I have no rooting interest, one way or another in the series, well, I guess I should root for the Jays since the Dodgers are the modern Yankees, and Syracuse is connected to the Jays, anyway, no rooting interest in this when I say this, this is one of the greatest series I’ve ever seen in any sport so far. Now this dude has 11 strikeouts and he started this season in single-A ball!

Just everything one could hope for from a championship series. The whole baseball postseason for that matter, Between Ohtani’s exploits, 18 innings with virtually everything that could possibly happen in a game happening, Ben just wild and entertaining.

Jays are tough. That’s for sure.
Holy cow right. After losing in 18 innings the other night, I thought for sure that would deflate them and no way they would come back like this to dominate.

Just love seeing they remain locked in and focused with absolutely no cockiness or overconfidence in what they’re doing here. It’s frankly amazing what they are doing right now

Other reasons to root for the jays .. Buffalo is their AAA, Ernie Clement is from Rochester area and is a huge jays fan

I saw that they were complaining about ratings for the 18 inning game being a bit down vs MNF. My question is I wonder how many people these days are watching both?

On the flip side an 18 inning also meant that for 3 more hours on the east coast those same rating were vastly higher than anything they would normally see at 1-3am?

I think they ran out of commercials in that last 2 hrs or so. Lots of promos for Wake Up Barstool
