Condolences to those who needed big fantasy days by Vikings and Falcons offensive players. This game STINKS!

But it’s really advantageous to only have to win two games to get to the Super Bowl as opposed to three. I personally think the six teams with two byes was a fairer format.
Of the last seven super bowl winners, six of those winners did not have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. No doubt the path is easier but somehow it often doesn't matter that much. Most of the time it comes down to who gets hot at the right time.

This is just an absolute bonkers stat

I swear I’ve not looked at the schedule but I’m going to go out on a limb and predict there is a jags / titans stand alone game

Their first game Week 13 no. Their second game is Week 18. If that matchup is a win or go home game for the AFC South title it'd be on SNF. 🤷‍♂️

Exactly. Plus the rest factor is bigger now

That final play FG block TD ….. Important to some. Congrats to those that laid the points with Philly and won after not covering the entire game

Game sorely missed a Mussberger or Michaels Degen in the booth. Insanity.

1st half for the Birds was one of their worst in years in all phases of the game… offense wasn’t clicking, defense was off, and special teams couldn’t catch a kickoff clean x4. Those knuckleball kicks were giving the returners fits.

Down 7-26 part way through the 3rd quarter. All phases stepped it up to come back and close the game out. 33-26 final. Fun ending!

I've been to at least 150 NFL games in my life (most of them at the LINC), that was one of the craziest games I've ever seen. At halftime the crowd booed them off the field. And yeah an all-time beat from a betting perspective.

49er Report vs the Cardinals

I don't know how NFL attendance is doing this year, but based on limited TV sweeps of the stands it looked like there were 10-20% empty seats in ??? San Jose.

Marvin H Jr., drops a 30 yd bomb that went right into his stomach, as he was facing the QB and the ball, with no 49er within 8 yds of him - an incredibly bad look.

Former SU favorite, James Connor, Pitt running back, suffered a very bad looking injury on a stuffed running play. In the media it is currently being described as a bad ankle injury, but it also looked like the knee was in a significantly non-anatomical position. I wish him the best, but not good for a 9th year running back.

Garret Williams is still out for the Cardinals, too bad, I would have liked to see him play.

Like SU, SF is playing their backup QB and have a new, better kicker for the season. Although, SF's injuries are far, far more extensive than SU's. And SF's injuries cost them the Superbowl two years ago and ruined their 2024 season. Somehow, they are 3-0 so far.

The Cardinals scored a safety because the 49ers held in the endzone (and I suppose the QB was still in there); have never seen that called before nor knew the rule existed. Anyways, the good guys marched down the field and got a game winning FG as time expired.

In today's best example of brain dead announcing, Collinsworth blurts out after Hustle and Bustle Russell throws his second horrid INT of the 1st half "well ya caaant blame Russell for that one, it was 1 on 1 coverage"

Oh really? That's the bar now? If its one on one you can just throw it up for grabs and hope your guy makes a play? How bout the fact the DB was in Nabors jersey from the time the ball was snapped and not for a second was there a sliver of day-light between the two?

Wilson sucks so bad. If Im Giants fan im beside myself wondering why we arent going to lose with Dart instead of lose with Wilson.

The best was his " it would have been intercepted, if someone got to the ball"

Wilson is so bad. I guess the coach is worse for leaving him in with Dart sitting there.

The announcers were telling a story about how the Giants staff kept coming up to them and saying "just wait till you see what we have in Dart!"

I guess he's so excellent they don't want to unveil him.
