2025 NFL Thread

Couldn’t help but slide on over to a Dolphins fan board . Here is the first thing I read :

“To all my Tua-sexuals. Everything is going to be alright. Just keep the faith. Tua is a great young man”

If you're reading this post, you currently have more career NFL rushing yards than Cam Skattebo at this moment.

Bengals Browns—announcer had to mention the Browns kicker was out of Syracuse… just as he misses a late game field goal for the lead. He also missed an extra point, which is why his team trails by 1.

Andre Szmyt.

Front Seven will be much scarier with Carter back (Looks like he's not gonna be suspended).

As an Iggles' fan, I think this will be a fun season even though I don't see them repeating. They now have the youngest defense in the league (well, maybe Zadarius Smith will knock them down a rung or so). And I'm looking forward to seeing what Fangio comes up with.

They have a weakness at that second outside corner spot. However, and this could happen, they have a rookie, Mac McWilliams, who seems suited to the slot. Might they move DeJean to a boundary corner?

I think they have 4/5ths of a good secondary (I like the safeties). Don't think their problems are insurmountable.
Birds waived OL Kenyon Green yesterday with no corresponding move, so Howie is cooking up something… a FA signing, a trade, or maybe just a PS squad call up. We shall see…

36 yd FG and missed XP is basically you’re cut

Sounds like David Jacob’s career with the Browns.

Was he the Lou Groza winner? Too lazy to look it up.

Posted in another thread but it has been a brutal day for kickers outside Boswell.

It was mentioned they are using a new ball this year.

Bo Nix is regressing hard and plucking up my survivor pick.
Haha, yeah he had a rough one today. He started off rough last year as well before hitting his stride. He'll be fine. If he's playing like he did today in week 6, we can start the regressing talk

Only have to pick them once. Back into enemy mode.

I was about to give up on this game, with Buff down 15 in the 4th. Wowzers. Glad I didn’t. What a game.

I wouldn’t have believed Balt couldn’t get one first down to work the clock.

Tenn would have been in great position to win that game if the Coach knew what he was doing. Cost them a TD at the end of the half and the go ahead FG late in the game as well just with bad coaching decisions.

I might be the only one but I hate the new kickoff format. Too many drives starting at the 35 plus level. And with teams now routinely attempting near 60 yd FG, two firsts and you’re nearly in FG range. I like rules that magnify the differences between good / great teams, not ones that minimize them

New kickoff rules are awful. If this is what we're gonna do, just get rid of the kickoff completely and start every drive at the 25.
