Interesting, that is Trevion Mack at Left Tackle with what looks to be the rest of the "starters" that were listed on Day 1

Mack is intriguing.

He's got that Bergeron build for an OL [big / heavy guy, who carries it well and looks 40 pounds lighter]. Not putting him on that level, ability-wise. But if he CAN nail down LT...

Solves a lot of issues on the OL, like shifting Spoon back to RT, which is probably a better fit.

OL is a positional unit where we lost 4 out of 5 starters. On paper, you'd expect that we'd take a big step back -- but I actually think we're going to improve, with the players we've added.

And we lost something like 9 out of 11 offensive starters. So it makes sense to me why external prognosticators look at what we lost, see McCord gone, and think we're going to take a massive step backwards, but I'm not so sure that's the case...

During Mack's freshman year someone mentioned that he had the right attitude for an OL. They were implying mean.

You know this but getting too many 15 yard penalties after TD's and Turnovers are a recipe for disaster and quite frankly just dumb football.
