Agree. I’m not a cuse football coach but I wonder if we can move McDonald to edge, grab a veteran linebacker in portal and pickup 1-2 veteran fcs offensive lineman that might hit portal.

Unless a lot of guys leave they are way over subscribed when preseason camp starts.

I’m pretty sure no matter what a lot of guys will enter portal. Even if no one else was to be acquired in portal. I think at the very least they will pick up a couple guys in spring portal.

Wilken suggested Monday that any current athlete should get to keep their spot even if it puts a team over the new roster limit.

The House decision needs to be settled before the portal opens next week.


Do the right thing people. Make a decision that is based on what is best for the kids, those student-athletes who are playing because they love their sport, not because they’re getting paid or aspire to go pro. Adjust the roster caps (in all sports) to grandfather in all of those young people who were on those rosters last season who still have eligibility remaining.

Does he have the speed to be out there? He seemed exposed at times last year, which was surprising given how much early playing time he got in the 3-3-5. I guess I thought more speed was required in that scheme vs. what Robinson is playing now.
