2025 Spring Practice/Game

I believe this is what having an elite S&C actually does for a program
ABSOLUTELY! A picture is worth a thousand words - right in front of our eyes here. I would venture to say our S&C staff is doing an excellent job and the sooner we get the basketball team on the same program the better!

I'd rather see Tremble/Clement/Washington-Baker out there.
Villari was a big disappointment this past year, however he was being held together by duct tape and still got playing time over those three. He was the first guy out of Jeff Nixon's mouth when asked about the tight end room, interestingly Tremble seemed like almost an afterthought. I wonder the same thing about Villari that I did when people were trying to gas up Luke Carney, if he wins the job are you impressed? Or terrified that the guys behind him were that bad?

Yeah I was a bit disappointed he didn't hype Tremble more. Villari and Clement have seniority and I get that and spring practice just started. I think and hope that order of mentioning changes moving forward.

People questioned Trebor last year at this time. It’s Dan’s turn shut up the doubters.
People said Villari was a potential NFL draft pick at this time last year. At least Trebor had shown us something pre-injuries.

Not sure why people love him so much.

Because he reminds some fans of Dungey.

Not sure why people would be so hostile to the player.

Him beating Pitt by itself earns unending gratitude from any real fan

still 16. Birthday was coming up but I forget exactly When. Read it somewhere. Post standard?
Wait, for real? He finished high school already? And is in the discussion to start... as a minor?!?!?!?

Did Samuels play his high school ball at Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters?

The Hell's going on?

Some of us remember the Clemson game of 2023. Dan was an absolute stud in that game, and will be again. I have no explanation for why he had such a bad 2024 season but I do know a player when I see one. Dan is a player! Do you even watch the games?

he was a beast in that game, steamrolling over tacklers

He was banged up last year. Borno is correct in that he is a tweener. I bet Nixon uses his skill set this year. I expect Dan to be used on shorter routes. seam routes ect.. he isn't going to ever be another OG but he is a talent. Most importantly I consider him player number 1. Dan bought into Fran immediately. Him staying was huge. He is the foundation of what Fran is building. Regardless of his on field abilities he is a leader. Love the kid.

All of what u said and he does have a Dungey mentality. Love his hard work and toughness.

The Clemson game of 2023? The one we lost by 17? He had 2 catches. We were thoroughly dominated.

You can be objective and notice his limitations, like blocking, which got Kyle sacked/LeQuint stuffed in the backfield multiple times last season. He dropped multiple first downs last year as well. Do you watch the games?

What I find interesting about this Vallari conversation is that didn't Collins name him as one of the players he was impressed with?
