So for one less game I will pay $25 more total per seat. That is $17.85 more per game. With one of those games being Colgate and another being UConn.
Looking at the TM map for bball tickets are pretty easy to get. Prices are insane to me though.Tickets to the SU-Georgetown game for auto renewing by 12/1/24 is a nice bonus for someone like me who does not have basketball season tickets.

I wonder why this is being done?Looks like they are going to add more ADA seating. This season section 115 does not have ADA. Anyone in those last few rows will now have an obstructed view. Anyone in the rows that are now ADA will lose their seats and need to relocated. I feel bad for anyone in rows S-ZZ who were totally screwed. They would not have chosen their seats this year knowing they would be gone next year.
I couldn't sell my GT tickets. Ended up donating them. UCONN tickets have been sitting in my account for sale for $25 bucks for months. Might just donate those too. Stanford, Holy Cross and VT were easy sells. I won't be renewing our seasons for next year due to multiple reasonsSo far this year we are at 39,880 per game. VA Tech being VA Tech and homecoming I would guess that the attendance is above that number. UConn being UConn and TG break I would guess would be our worst attendance of the year. Miami being Miami will likely be above our average but TG break and how we play leading up to the game could hurt. So we probably won't change much from our current average.
I expected there to be more hype around this year and a ticket shortage to these games given the reduced capacity. But that did not happen. Seems too many fans are in fool me once mode and waiting to see proof of improvement.
Next year on paper our home games are less attractive. On top of that we have a brutal schedule which will hurt attendance. Given that, I am surprised that they increased ticket prices overall and per game. Also your starting point is raised significantly across every level for per game tickets. Which will make it harder to get over 40k per game.
I found it odd that 115 and 116 did not have ADA in the first place. I also have no issue with adding more ADA. The lack of transparency though for those people who are losing seats is unacceptable.I wonder why this is being done?
Didn't they just increase the seating area for ADA by 500% or some similar number? I am not sure of exact figures but when the dome was reconfigured there must have been a massive increase in ADA seating.
I am not against ADA seating. Everyone who wants to attend should have an opportunity to do so. But was there such a tremendous demand for ADA seating that even more people need to be moved from their seating now? I will look closely at all the real estate reserved now for ADA for the remaining games and see if it is packed with people, which I would hope was the case if the university felt the need to break their word to the season ticket holders and take all these seats away after only 7 games.
I believe the university promised this was a one in a lifetime type reseating thing. Period. I think you are right; the people who lose their seats as a result of this additional ADA expansion are really boned because after they get the bad news they are losing their seats, they are going to have to pick from what is left after everyone else has already chosen their seats.
Would not be surprised if this results in some lawsuits.
Any changes like this should absolutely have been done when the new seats were installed. This is not good.I found it odd that 115 and 116 did not have ADA in the first place. I am sure that is the case (gov). But SU should have added 115 and 116 just in case things changed in the future. Better to be ahead than behind.Any changes like this should absolutely have been done when the new seats were installed. This is not good.
My guess is that these changes were mandated by the government and SUAD had no choice but to make it happen. I just don't see how they would do this on their own.
Yes. Why not hold back season just in case in those areas.I am sure that is the case (gov). But SU should have added 115 and 116 just in case things changed in the future. Better to be ahead than behind.
Also didn’t they hold back seats in 200 level because of future changes? Could have done the same in 115. Not sold S-ZZ to STHs and just made those single games.
They definitely are. I would move into one of those rows near me but they keep doing this to people always in the 300 levels. I can't buy season tickets in a row I know is strictly open...I look at the TM map and I dont see 40K. I see like 37K. They are still holding back every other row.
IIRC the email said FB ST renewal deadline (without early selection) is May 1, 2025.Suppose I don’t want the Georgetown tickets, can I renew later?
Additionally, they sell tickets before people even know if they can get parking.
Everyone can get parking. It wasn’t sold out. What you may not get is your preferred parking lot.
What lots were left empty? Something like Manley or closer than that?
I thought everything on the West side went pretty fast?
