2025 Yankees Season

Bullpen is shot, horrific performance again. I liked Efross pre injury but he's fn lost right now. Yanks need multiple BP arms or move Yarbrough and Schittler to the pen to help with Gill almost back or vice versa

Comprehensive baseball statistic that measures a player's offensive production, accounting for park factors and the league's run-scoring environment. It essentially tells you how much better or worse a hitter is compared to the league average, with 100 representing average.

Above is the google explanation but essentially as it noted its how good a hitter is based on a number of statistics compared to the league wide average which is 100.

Thank you.

My only point was McMahon is not a good offensive player, but going from a sub-replacement level player in Peraza to an above replacement level player in McMahon, is a good thing, even if it is only an incremental improvement.

Peraza’s 24 wRC+ is among the worst I’ve seen for a semi-everyday player.

How has a guy with an OBP of 0.212 played 70 games this year? The answer is injuries and Aaron Boone but Jesus.

Yeah not a good offensive player indeed. On track for close to 200 Ks and has an OPS of .589 away from Coors Field. Brutal.

Thanks Jeremy. So essentially he sucks, but a little bit less than what the Yankees have been trotting out there. I guess that’s a win.

Yeah, trying to sell the "under team control" thru 2027 wasn't a benefit to me.

I guess the hope and prayer is that going from bottom feeder to contender with appealing right field wall will inspire a hot streak.

I don’t think they are banking on a hot streak. I think they just recognize that even as a below average bat, he is still significantly better than Peraza.

Also, there will be plenty of late game pinch hit opportunities with at least one of Grisham, Rice, Dominguez, Stanton, or Goldschmidt always on the bench.

latest bleacher farm system rankings have the yankees somewhere around 30th. not a lot of trade bait.
