Spallina haters are about to be out in full force over this one. IL will do anything for "discussion." Personally would have zero issue having Schaler and Lyght over Spallina, especially given how well they do in the matchup, although Spallina did a decent job on them in the regular season this year. That final four performance should have been enough to give Schaler the nod.
I also think Goldstein maybe has a slight edge on Spallina, but he also has not been the main focus of teams defenses due to Kirst. Would at least have Goldstein over Duffy if I was doing this. But it's all pointless and mainly to get people talking anyways.
It will get the usual suspects fired up but once you get to the top 10 your splitting hairs. All 10 of those guys are All Americans and likely 1st teamers so again be it 1 4 or 9 you can make an argument for any of them.
