I think the big take away about the portal is he said alot of teams are trading 2s for 2s and we don't want to do that.
Develop our talent and get a few key pieces from the portal.

We are going to tell guys to hit the portal HARD for key pieces. Fran has hinted at this in interviews.

Plus the schedule is much more manageable.

We can assess that the QB room was an all time dumpster fire. That’s something

And yet, on paper, some said it was the best group since McNabb's freshman year before the season began.

Yeah he has a lot of potential but I don’t think he, and our WR room this year, was quite as good as people think. Not to blame them for the hideous QB play by any means.

Is this really a fair conclusion? Didn't Angeli lead the country in passing in week 3 or week 4? SOMEBODY was catching those balls.
