Cook has the talent to play on Sundays. Angeli does not. The best case ceiling for Angeli is Sam Hartman, and by the time he’s done here, he’ll be nearly as old as Hartman was when he wrapped up his college career.

What Cook are you watching? Are you his uncle?

The Cook that led the team in receptions and receiving yards. And saw time at Texas as a true freshman and soph among 4 NFL receivers. You want to use the excuse Angeli stunk it up vs. Tennessee because he didn’t play spring ball. Cook hadn’t played ball since mid season 2024. And still lit up Tennessee and Clemson. I’m not his uncle, just a fan. Are you not a fan of Cook?

I was at the Tennessee game and don't remember Angeli "stinking it up". I actually thought at the time that the offensive coaches had done a poor job of getting the kinks ironed out and being ready to execute.

I know the qb play was horrendous but Gill didn’t do much to help out either. Great receivers elevated their quarterbacks. Gill can be great I think. He needs to find a way to get a little stronger. Still gets pushed out of the play too often.
For example Bond from BC has put up solid career numbers with a ton of average quarterbacks.

Gill can play on sundays I think. Cook maybe too but we could not throw in a 5 yd bubble near them guys and most routes were short or mid. It was just rough all around.

i am excited for next year and the years after that. Coach is the right guy. I he we have at leat two and maybe even three legit qb's on the roster. I wonder if Collins has what it takes to be a receiver? He seemed pretty fast and a little shifty to me. He is a good athlete just not an accurate thrower.

Per the NCAA Website:

How the new rule works

• 5-day waiting period: There is a 5-day waiting period after a new head coach is hired or announced.
• 15-day window: Following the waiting period, a 15-day window opens during which players can enter the transfer portal.
• 30-day exception: If the new head coach is not hired within 30 days, the 15-day window begins on day 31.
• Changes to the window: This new rule replaces the previous, more immediate 30-day window that was previously in place after a coaching change.

Important note

• This rule applies specifically to football. Other sports may have different rules and timelines.
• If the coaching change occurs after January 1st, players may have to wait until the April notification-of-transfer window opens

I don’t determine things on whether I like it. He’s not getting drafted mid-round next year no matter where he goes and who the QB is. Whether you like it or not. If you don’t like it, take a hike. What I said is a fact. Anything you say in rebuttal is false. Too bad.

He talked about the financial backings in this press conference he said we don’t have the most but we don’t have the least also in terms of revenue sharing between the sports at the school.

Yeah I picked up somewhat the opposite vibe from that. They are developing depth and will mainly fill holes from the portal for areas where they need someone that will win the starting job. Like they are not going to hit the portal to get several guys to fill the 2 and 3s. I'm assuming QB is a position with an exception, they know they need better depth at that position behind Angeli.
