I think they will be but your never know. Was told today Hop would be a major player on him.

dont doubt that they will go after him, as will most top 10 programs, but the interest has to be mutual. and it appears it isnt judging by the iL list...at least initially. things can change...

i have talked to a handful of assistants in recent days and all of them expect the gillis kid to be the best collegiate player in the class when all is said and done...fasion brother is good but the last name is doing a bit of the talking...

Given the ties between Lawrenceville and Hopkins, it still makes me nervous. Hopefully it’s a one sided recruitment!

According to Xanders it sounds like it’s between Notre Dame and Duke for Gillis. Of the top 10 players Xanders writes about, it sounds like it’s between Duke and Notre Dame, of course.

Any insight into where some of these top players might be headed? It’s funny I guess that so much of this seems predetermined even before Sept 1st. Can’t help it in a lot of ways (kids are going to be fans of certain schools) but still interesting. It sounds like some of it Ty is speculating on, but others he sounds pretty definite on.

FWIW, both Cooper Brozek & Chris Doshna had “Schools Considering” lists added to their IL profiles 2 weeks ago that have now been completely removed.

Some sleuthing on his public IG Profile indicates UNC maybe for Doshna. Total speculation,, but would be disappointing no doubt

Huh. Something specific? I took a look and I didn’t notice anything. His profile doesn’t have much. Of all the teams he only follows Penn State. He does follow Gary Gait and a few of the Syracuse players (I don’t think he follows Breschi). Hard to read too much into anything but maybe I am missing something.

It looks like Peck is the only Five Star player who lists schools he’s interested in. Only a handful of Four Stars do it. I think this practice isn’t as popular as it was a few years ago when IL first introduced it. Probably doesn’t help players very much if they are signaling to other schools they aren’t interested.

Inside Lacrosse runs a recruiting event at Hopkins every year in the summer. When they introduced the "interested" part of the recruiting profile a couple of years ago, they asked the players on the teams at the event to all fill out their profiles. Doesn't seem like they've pushed it the last year or two
