Figured Duke would be major players this class and UNC continues to be a recruiting juggernaut. Thankfully Breschi is still there.

james - cuse, uva, or maryland

ligas - hop, ND, or ivy

lot of stuff lost in translation with where kids are taking visits, so dont take as gospel

UNC and duke signing these 4-star defensemen should be good news for cuse snagging a james or bramoff type. prob not bramoff if we're being honest but def in on james...

I'd be pretty surprised if Cuse landed Bramoff. Think their involved but more on the periphery. James I think their in a good spot but you never know with a top end guy and when your battling the top dogs.

UVA would worry me most here with Tiffany’s ties to the Haudenosaunee growing up in Lafayette & serving as HC for their World Championship team in ‘23, not to mention him being a former defenseman with a similarly athletic/aggressive game. As far as I recall, he’s yet to recruit a Native American to UVA & I’m sure he’d love to.

No idea. First commit last year wasn’t till the 5th. So we have some time. I do wonder if the five stars and bigger names take a couple of weeks to sort themselves.

Zero inside info but I’ll throw out a guess of IL’s #69 4 star D Joe Florada out of Salisbury (CT) & previously CBA Syracuse. 6’6” in the mold of one of UVA’s “Jurassic Park” poles. I think James ends up Orange as well but may take some time.

There are a ton of lefty attackmen in this class. Peck, Brozek, Conway-Reppert, Metz and Plunkett, and that’s just the five stars. Maybe some of them can play midfield, but just curious how many will go to the same school.

I am sure Tillman would be happy to nab another lefty, sort of like: Rambo, Rotanz, and Heacock a few years back.
The Terps are going to be down to one lefty attackman in Johnny Gardiner after this coming year.

James Gillis is a lefty also

The Terps do do a good job of developing top defensemen like Zappitello and Makar.

they havent been that great lately to be honest. st anthonys has absolutely dominated them in recent years and they regularly lose to top out of state teams like mcdonogh and delbarton. good program but theyve fallen a bit from their heyday. their rising senior class of goalies is not very good...believe one is committed to holy cross and the other is D3 so walsh should be expected to start...

Is John Balsamo at Chaminade the brother of Charles Balsamo at UVa, who just transferred from Duke? Will UVa get a 2-pack?

Then one has to ask, what is the level of John Balsamo? He is #23 in the nlf rankings and #91 in Inside Lacrosse's rankings.

Agree. Petro is a great guy but a very hard coach to please. Need to be mentally tough to deal with his approach.
