weirdoMy ex-wife used to say I had tough nuts. A little skin conditioner goes a long way.
Agree, Tom. Late November is a bad time to play ND as you detailed. We could also be 5-6, which would dampen the excitement. I’m out for this game. Thanksgiving weekend isn’t good.I wish we played ND early. Damn. Their depth will be tough to compete with.
I think we will play California the second game of the season. If it happens in week 2, the game will probably be played Friday night to avoid a conflict with Rosh Hashanah. They could also take a bye for 9/12 or play that game away but it seems we play a lot at home each season in September and I suspect the programs wants to have their bye sometime in mid season, like ND has here.
As an aside, we will NOT be playing NC State October 17th or October 24th. NC State’s stadium is located next to the NC State Fair and I do not believe they can host football games there while the State Fair is in session.
I suspect we host Clemson the weekend of 9/16 or 9/26 and play NC State in Raleigh in November.
You just don’t know OE. But that’s okay.weirdo

OE is not weird and has been a key part of the board for years. You just don’t know OE. But that’s okay.
prob needs to touch grass or snow sometimes, and not post 1500 times a day guyYou just don’t know OE. But that’s okay.
I guess Stanford believes Indiana in Nov is just too cold, as John McKay thought it was.True regarding USC, I guess I figured they would draw Stanford again.
I have no idea how this guy isn’t banned lolprob needs to touch grass or snow sometimes, and not post 1500 times a day guy
I wish we had ND's schedule. Miami is tough, SMU is pretty tough.. then 10 winnable games.I wish we played ND early. Damn. Their depth will be tough to compete with.

So would we beat Syracuse on their schedule?I wish we had ND's schedule. Miami is tough, SMU is pretty tough.. then 10 winnable games.
It would be great to play there some September with the Red Sox also in town.Give me an early season @ BC game
That would be delightful. Hate bc when it’s cold.It would be great to play there some September with the Red Sox also in town.
I think we play Cal at home in game 2. It would be awesome to play BC at BC a week or two later.
You might actually get your wish.Give me an early season @ BC game
Friday night IS Rosh Hashana. Could do it Saturday night as less observant Jews only celebrate 1 day so it ends at sundown on Saturday. But also in September sumdown is still late, and also Conservative and orthodox observe through sundown Sunday. I think maybe they could get away with a Saturday night, but there would be push back. They've done it before for away games, but not home games.I wish we played ND early. Damn. Their depth will be tough to compete with.

Also if you have to do one, you pick Rosh as most Jewish people would tell you it’s the less strict one from an observance point l. Yom Kippur is the holiest of days. Then again I’m a lapsed catholic so I view every religious holiday as expendable.Syracuse tries to avoid mid October home games for Jewish holidays, their not gonna be able to avoid the second week of the season as well. As Tom noted I suspect week 2 will be a home game be it Fri or Sat.
They're both early this year so October could be in play if they wanted. Also if you have to do one, you pick Rosh as most Jewish people would tell you it’s the less strict one from an observance point l.
